Mixmag club tour kicks off at Pacha in October – wanna play?
October 6, 2008
Again another huge oppurtunity I’ve come across. I went to the mixmag website, BANG! This time its a comp with only one winner but still it’s a chance. Everything is worth something in this game that’s what I’m learning quick.

We enjoy the buzz of escaping our pages and throwing big, loud, 3D events so much, we’ve decided to take Mixmag on tour.
We’re kick starting the tour at the newly renovated (and completely transformed) Pacha in London, now known as Pacha Beyond! The line up includes Hervé, Riton, Little Boots, a surprise live act, Appleblim and Hatcha.
As a treat, we’re offering a DJ slot at the night to one of you. If you wanna play at the opening party send a 20 minute mix CD, with a track-listing and full contact details to “I wanna play the Mixmag Party”, Mixmag Towers, 90-92 Pentonville Road, London N1 9HS.

So here again, a nice little challenge with a huge reward. Like I said before time to buckle down and get my set together.
Nu Passion
October 6, 2008
So here’s something I didn’t know.
Passion, the place I found my passion for this whole new experience is letting new and upcoming DJs through. A chance to play in the home of Passion, The Emporium.
What an opportunity!?
Its time to put get my head down, put a proper mixtape together and see what we can do. This is certainly a real chance. No better place than the birthplace of my co-existence with music that has formed since that very day.

Here’s the info from the site:
Passion has always been proud of trying to introduce new and exciting talent alongside big named DJs.

If your an up and coming from the UK I suggets you give this a try, this club is amazing and I am sure if you can please the crowd you will have a night you will remember in your last breath.
Luck to us all!
Velvet Morning.

Kyau vs. Albert Feat Damae – Velvet Morning.
What a tune. Now this is a massive trance hit, something quite spectacular.
The main thing running for this tune is the vocals. Without a doubt some of the most uplifting, subtle vocals to ever grace a clubfloor. I haven’t heard this one out yet but I’m sure its something that creates a lot of atmosphere, gets the crowd in unity and driving forward.
Exceptional it really it is. No matter what you like you will undoubtedly enjoy the vocals on the this track.

Starting Out
October 6, 2008
So it all started a couple of years ago, when my brother took me for a life changing experience in one of the most talked about homes of Trance music, Passion @ The Emporium.
Arriving inside this huge venue with an atmosphere so full of life and energy it was hard not to start moving with the beat.. Drawn to the front of the dance floor I started to realise that this is where I want to be. Heart pacing, I’m consumed by this irresistable beat, KICK KICK KICK.
I look up to the DJ booth, JFK looking over at the crowd with the most mysterious smile on his face… Like he knew something we all didn’t?
Ofcourse…. He did, what was coming next!
Suddenly, Sunrise – Here I Am drops in out of no where. A new chapter in the club as a new tune starts. All that anticipation starts over right again, as all the people on the dancefloor are filled with pure anxiety relating to the arrival of the next big drop!
Its a bigger climax than sex, lasting all night long. Arriving at 10 to go through the doors thats it, we’re riding, hitting the point of orgasm for the next 8 hours untill its closing time for the club.
What can compare with that?
Every new song, like a new partner. Something new and exciting to experience, new rhythm, new bass, new beat. What better spice in life could you want!
Witnessing JFK at his home, doing what he loves really inspired me. BAM! Thats it, im dedicating myself to this, I want to share what I feel from music. I need to share it with everyone out there.
Two years later. BAM! Here we are.. I’ve been spinning vinyls since that night, I’ve managed to do a few private parties, some gigs and some other cool little events. Spending hours of my time on Fruity Loops & Reason just to make a little progress each time. Slowly but surely I started seeing results…
So here I am now, finally really getting stuck into the Production side of things as well as really pushing my mixing to another level. Now a student on a music course actually learning and sharing with other artists I feel that I am in the best position to kick start a career for myself. Fruity loops & Cubase are my weapons of choice, I now know so much I didnt before and I’ve only just started the course.
I’d like to think.. ‘This is my time’
